How do I boil the needles of Christmas to a fragrance?

I used to boil the leftover needles pine for my Christmas tree to a home air freshener. However, I have not done in time and I lost and forgot the instructions. Does anyone know how I do this? that the amount of water and I shold crush the needles or not

I've never made with pine needles, but in essence asking how to extract oils "essential" that I made with other flavors. I would put them in a covered pan with a lid assembly proper use of water just enough to cover the needle, then put them simmer (for preferably electric burner). Let the water evaporates and condenses inside the lid for a while (several hours or days). Crushing or breaking of needles could help improve yields, but I guess you'll have more needles you want deodorant, so do not bother me. After a time, you should have some sort of viscous liquid. Remove the needle, clarify whether they really want to get just the stuff to support them in the pot, then all open until the liquid evaporates the remaining water. You should be able to roll the dough into a ball sticky or whatver the most convenient. Good luck.
