Oil pressure drops Chevy Van, then pushes?

I have that 97 Chevy Express Van, 5.7L Recently, each time ending oil pressure drops to 0, then jumps back and measure 45-55 when the changes go in the second report. The oil level is Very Good. Is this an indicator of poor or something? Thank you for rapid assistance to date. I checked the website of my shop automotive parts - The sending unit is also called the switch oil pressure? It could be a check valve oil (ball valve) under the oil filter on the block, or an oil sending unit (or cable / connector)
