Do you think people in Seattle are using their Super Bowl XL Seahawks Championship shirts the NFL gave them for free after losing to Pittsburgh or a clipping of the current AL West standings with the Mariners record highlighted to wipe away the tears their crying because the Sonics are gone?
You know how ESPN is doing this Titletown USA thing? Well, if they ever do a Losertown version Seattle is getting my vote.
I'm in Seattle and we know what was happening the day Clay arrived to the city...It felt like he was shopping for a team and wanted to get one as soon as possible. To bad it was the Sonics...We here aren't upset with Clayton Bennett, I think what hurts most is the history lost...The Sonics are apart of the fabric that makeup the city (like it or not) and all we have left is memories of what could have been (most didn't expect much from such a young team to be honest)...Yeah our teams lose a lot around here. Just like the Spurs did for a long time and the Red Sox did for 80 plus years so spare me the criticism as to know what winning is you must grasp defeat...I expect lot of thumbs down so have at it...
